The Association Terra Dacica Aeterna was created on June 1st, 2007, in Cluj-Napoca. It was the first reenactment group in Romania trying to reacreate, as accurately as possible, the Dacian and Roman civilizations, through elements of military and civilian daily life.
The Roman military equipment bears the symbols of the Thirteenth Gemina Legion (Legio XIII Gemina), the unit with the longest presence in Roman Dacia. The Legion was stationed during the second and third centuries A.D. in Apulum (today Alba Iulia, Romania).
Terra Dacica Aeterna is the place where the rivalry between Dacians and Roman manifests peacefully, through workshops and reenactment shows intended to instruct and entertain all those involved.
Based on the love of history of a few passionate founders, Terra Dacica Aeterna managed to surpass the difficulties inherent to all pioneering initiatives, hoping, one day, to re-create and present to the public the accurate picture of Antique times on the territory of present-day Romania, through their intricate military, social, and religious realities.

Terra Dacica Aeterna aims at:
• familiarizing the general public with the values of the Dacian and Roman civilizations on the territory of present-day Romania, based on the latest scientific knowledge, underlining their important contribution to our historical past and present.
• encouraging the public to study, respect, and preserve the elements of Dacian and Roman antique civilization on the territory of present-day Romania.
• involve young people in practical activities related to experimental archaeology.
• contacting and cooperating with similar organizations in Europe and North America.

Ancient Heritage "Eagle on the Danube" Svishtov, Bulgaria
** 20 May 2011 - presentation millitary equipment and production methods, fighting techniques in front of aprox. 60 people, being invited by "Andrei Muresanu" College, Bistrita Nasaud County Museum and "Argument" Association. The presentation took place at the Museum
